My name is Aien... Okay, so that's not my real name, but I prefer to keep that private, so for you, my name is Aien ;). I was born in 1985 which makes me almost 20 right now. Even though ponies are a big part of my life, they're not the only thing! ;)

I am currently a history student at Leiden University. I've been that for two years now, and I'm sure It'll be a few years before I'm done... But I enjoy it :) My favorite part is migration history, but I like economical history, too.

My other hobbies are anime and manga, of which my fave series are naruto, Inu Yasha, Love Hina, Fullmetal Alchemist, Air, My Hime... Anyone familiar with that? ;)

I also love animals... I have a dog, Simba, who lives at my parents place, so I don't see him that often, unfortunately... :( I also have 2 dwarf hamsters living at my parents place, Kiasi and Kichora. In my own house, I have a Syrian Hamster, Rembrandt... he's really sweet! ^^
I used to have loads more animals, but me being a student prevents me from having enough time to take care of them... :/ I used to have a lot of bunnies, and I've had two beautiful Fjord horses, Lianne and Thornado. I also had Guinea Pigs, mice, fish, two cats... Quite a lot ^-^ I miss having my animals around, but I know I can't take care of them right now... so I'll wait until I'm done with uni :)

Of course, my favorite hobby is writing. I'm currently writing an ongoing story about the gen2 ponies, which you can find in the links section, but I'm also thinking of writing more stories about ponies and other things.

Which brings me to one of my other hobbies... reading!! I love books. My favorite genre is definately fantasy, though I love thrillers as well. My favorite authors are Robin Hobb, Julia Gray, J.K. Rowling, Tolkien, but I enjoy loads of different authors. If you want to read some good fantasy books, read the farseer trilogy of Robin Hobb, and then her Liveship Trilogy. They're truly magnificent books, and very well written!

Other things I like are DVD's (I love watching things! I got over 150 dvd's right now, I think ^^;) and games. My favorite games are RPG's mostly, I love final fantasy, pokemon, Star Ocean, the dot hack series... 

And yes, I like music too! :p My favorite rtists are all from Japan... I love Japanese music! You should try songs by Do as Infinity, Kotoko, Sakamoto Maaya... they're great :)
